Retail Viewer M can be used to place a group of spaces automatically along a defined path, significantly increasing the speed with which a floor plan can be laid out.
To access Automation, click Automation on the Design Mode tab of the toolbar when in a layout.

This will open the Space Layout Routes dialogue.

Enter a Route Name and click Add.

Draw the route on the layout by clicking each corner point of the route.

The previous leg of the path can be rewound by clicking .png) . Click .png) to save the route once complete.

Click Use Path to open the Automation Wizard.

Select Place Spaces Continuously if spaces should be placed immediately next to each other, meaning some spaces may be start partway along a fixture if the previous space does not completely fill the fixture width. Here the first instance of the Tea space starts halfway along the fixture.

Select Place Spaces On Next Fixture if each space should start on a new fixture, meaning there may be gaps between spaces if the previous space does not completely fill the fixture width. Here there is a gap between the Juices & Smoothies and Tea spaces.

Spaces have now been placed along the specified path.
