Do not import unnecessary fixtures
To avoid flooding the fixture library with unnecessary fixtures it is advisable to only import fixtures which will be used in Retail Viewer M. In general only fixtures which are to be merchandised (that is have spaces placed on them) need to be imported.

Before uploading a DWG to the Fixture Importer Wizard note the names of the blocks to be selected for import by inspecting the DWG in AutoCAD. Alternatively the DWG can be inspected in Retail Viewer M itself by importing it (without fixtures) into the layouts module. Then with background mode enabled click blocks on the floorplan to display their names in the right side bar.
