Retail Viewer M allows users to add annotations to the proposed layout. Annotations can be used to give feedback or highlight issues. Annotations may contain shapes, lines or text. To enable annotations, click on the Annotation Mode icon on the Layout Toolbar.

The Layout Toolbar Annotation tab contains six shape options: line, polyline, polyline shape, circle, rectangle and arrow. To annotate the layout with a shape, select the outline and fill colour and the line weight, if required. Note arrow only uses the outline colour.

Select the shape and follow the instructions displayed on the top right-hand corner of the screen. Drawing shapes mostly consists of picking a starting point and an end point if drawing a circle, rectangle or line, and picking several points if drawing a polyline or polyline shape. For an arrow, click and drag to draw an arrow of the required length.

Sending Annotations as queries to other users works in much the same way as sending queries from entities.

Annotations created from the Annotations Mode can only be viewed from the query to which they are attached.
