Colour Profiles are used in the planogram interactive image and PDF export to highlight the planogram image based on various metrics. These Colour Profiles can be defined in the settings for users to then select when they are viewing the interactive image or to be applied when generating a PDF export.
Users with Administrator, Manager or Super permissions for the Planograms module can define Colour Profiles.
To create Colour Profiles, click on the Settings menu at the top right and select Settings.

In the General Settings panel, enter a Name and select a database Table and Field from the drop downs on which the highlighting will be based. By default, the Products and Shelf tables from the Retail Viewer M database and their associated fields are available. Fields from Category Database tables can be used but these will first need to be mapped to Retail Viewer M – see the section Database Mapping > Planogram Extra Fields, Product Extra Fields, Shelf Extra Fields and Store Extra Fields in the Settings section for more information on mapping Category Database fields.

In the Mappings panel, enter a name for the mapping and click to add the mapping to the list. Multiple mappings can be added if different colouring will be required for different categories.

The Details panel allows you to amend the name of the mapping and to define whether heatmap and range bands should be used in conjunction with other values or not.

The Categories panel allows for the selection of categories to which this mapping should apply. This will be used by the PDF export to determine which mapping to apply if this option is selected in the PDF export template. Note that in the interactive image, users will have access to all mappings defined regardless of which category they are assigned to.

The Colours panel allows you to define which colours are used to highlight the products for different values. On the Numeric tab, enter the Range of possible values. To assist with identifying the range, a planogram can be selected by clicking the Search button on the left of the bottom bar and selecting the required planogram.

The selected planogram will show in the bottom bar.

Once the planogram is selected, click to set the max and min values using the data from the planogram.

For non-numeric values, use the Other Values tab to specify the possible values and the colour they should be highlighted. Use to get the values from the selected planogram.

To view a preview of the highlighting before saving the profile, click Preview... in the bottom left.
