Merchandisable Fixtures

Note the only fixtures which should be set as merchandisable in the library are those fixtures which will have spaces placed on them. Where a fixture is made up of component fixtures only those parts which will actually have the space placed on them should be set as merchandisable. Select fixtures on the floorplan when in design mode to see their details in the right side bar properties panel.

e.g. fixture km-543(1) should be merchandisable:

Fixture km-543-1(1) should not be merchandisable:

Merchandisable areas

Some fixtures will house spaces better as fixtures with merchandisable areas drawn on them rather than as merchandisable fixtures. This would be the case if only part of the fixture is merchandisable or if multiple spaces will be placed on one fixture, such as a carousel. If adding merchandisable areas to a fixture ensure the fixture itself is set as not merchandisable.

To do this locate the fixture in the fixtures list or hierarchy within Fixture Manager click the magnifying glass icon to view the fixture then click the edit button on the top right:

Then untick Merchandisable and save:

To add a merchandisable area click the Edit Graphic icon on the top right of the fixture preview:

Note if creating a new area, it must be drawn from bottom left to top right.
