Export Templates

Select Export Templates from the Planogram Settings. A list of currently defined templates is displayed.

To create a new template, click Add Template.

A blank template is displayed.

The template is constructed by dragging and dropping the available elements to the required position in the template.

General Elements can be positioned in headers and footers and the Empty Page page element.

Page Elements can be positioned in the Output Template area.

Once positioned, click the cog icon  against an element to define that element.

There is a Page Break Page Element if you wish to add a page break under an element.

Alternatively, click the  icon at the top of the Output Template panel to add page breaks after every element.

For Page Elements, a Section Header and Footer can also be defined.

By default, the Page Header and Footer height will automatically calculate based on the content defined. If a fixed height is required, click the  icon in the Default Page Header or Footer panel and then select Custom.

You can then define the height required and the content will be re-sized to fit within that height.

If Product List, Shelf List or Comparison are included in the Output Template, the columns which display in the list will be those which display when viewing these lists in the Planograms module (which are defined at user profile level in the settings – see the section Planograms under Profiles and Users in Settings). If different columns should be displayed in the PDF export, this can be defined in the Column & Label Selections. Defining these columns within the template means that all users will see the same output regardless of which user profile they are assigned to.

If POG Image is included in the Ouput Template, the display options will be those which display when viewing the interactive image in the Planograms module (which are defined at user profile level in the settings – see the see the section Planograms under Profiles and Users in Settings). If different options should be displayed in the PDF export, this can be defined by clicking Display Settings... Defining these options within the template means that all users will see the same output regardless of which user profile they are assigned to.

Also for POG Image it is possible to apply a Colour Profile to highlight products based on various metrics. To include a pre-defined Colour Profile, select the required profile from the drop down.

Note the mapping does not have to be selected because the appropriate mapping will be applied based on the category assignment when the PDF export is generated. See Colour Profiles in this guide for more information on defining colour profiles and mappings.

To view a preview of the template, click Search... at the bottom of the screen and select one or more planograms.

Then click Generate PDF... to view the preview of the planograms selected. This will open in a new browser tab.

Once the template definition is complete, click Save. The template now appears in the list of templates.
